Nosy fam

Is it strange that my cousins and aunt find themselves incredibly interested in my sexual status? I havent spoken to them in a few years, we had a falling out over the same thing pretty much, they can't seem to keep their nose in their own business. They've even gone as far as making things up about me, like I'm losing weight I must be on drugs or my face is too fat so I'm pregnant. Oh and there's the one where I'm sleeping with every man I encounter.

One of the cousins' daughter really enjoys my company (she's 9), wants me to come to her birthday party tomorrow. I wanna be there because I got the kid some gifts for her special day, but I know they're  all gonna be talking, asking questions, gawking like usual.

I'm a shy person and keep to myself mostly.

I'm just wondering how I can just tell them what's up and keep my composure and not draw attention to myself and ruin a little girls birthday party? I've never been good with confrontation, but I'm just really fed up.
