Does a period always come 14 days after O?

This might be dumb, but does a period always come 14 days after ovulation? I ovulated 12 days ago with a confirmed opk. If I’m not pregnant will my period definitely come in 2 days?

I kept reading infographics on Pinterest that the luteal phase is always 14 days long or that it’s always the same time. 
But after coming to glow boards that’s totally not the experience of other women here 🤷🏻‍♀️

Not necessarily. I have been a couple days early and a couple days late before. I believe the period after ovulation is called your luteal phase. Some people do you have a really short or really long luteal phase is. I think everything I said is correct please someone tell me if I’m wrong.

My luteal phase is about 17 days long. It varies from woman to woman. :) do you know how long your cycle normally is? That will tell you how long after ovulation you are going to have to wait ☺️.

Mine is about 16 days. I ovulate a little bit early in my cycle. (28 day cycle).

Thank you! It seems like I don’t really have any signs of my period but I don’t feel pregnant symptoms anymore either. The only thing I have is lower back pain which isn’t super normal for me.🤔
