What would you do?

I’m 38w3 with baby # 2. 2 days ago at my Dr Appt I was 3cm dilated. Dr did a sweep, and since then I’ve had on and off contractions, but not more than 6-7 minutes apart for about 2 hours at a time and then they go away and start being every 15-20 minutes apart. But they are PAINFUL, like they stop me in my tracks! I’ve gone through labor so I know what to expect.

This morning I lost my plug and had my bloody show. Don’t want to be sent home but also don’t want to have these painful contractions and end up going in at 6 or 7 cms and not have time for an epidural!

What would you do??
