Keeping the house COLD
I’m a hot body. Always have been. I get migraines often and a lot of times it’s if I sleep hot I’ll wake up with one and it’s not uncommon for me to have them 2-3 times a week for 1-2 days at a time. I’ve had migraines since I was a toddler so I can manage the pain, but obviously I do my best to avoid it! I’m really scared when the baby comes that migraines will rule our life.
That said, I keep the house at 64° pretty consistently year round and keep the fan running 100% of the time. I live in a giant very old farmhouse and am in the Midwest where winters can be brutal. The nursery is on the 2nd floor where my room is and each floor has its own heating/cooling.
Can you share any tips for me on keeping baby warm, or his/her room warm for sleeping? I had thought about putting in a base heater with a room control, and can do that if need be, I just feel like I might be missing the obvious. Or maybe 64° isn’t as cool as I think it is??
