Engagement ring

My fiance had given me this beautiful promise ring on Christmas day to kind of upgrade from the one I had before. Then not even a week later he proposed on news year eve with another beautiful ring.

But I really love the promise ring more than the engagement ring. The promise ring he had given me was more my taste and the engagement ring is so beautiful too! I dont want to sound ungrateful by any means because I love this man and any ring he chooses for me no matter what. But I would so much rather wear the promise ring versus the engagement ring.

He said the one from Christmas could be a back up in case anything was to happen to this one. He said he was intentionally going to propose with the one he gave me from Christmas but then found this one and liked it better. So I wear the one he chose because he loves it but I'm sad having to leave the promise ring that is more me and my style in the jewelry box 😣
