36 and acne ?!?

Question

I am 36 I never got acne as a teenager. I am dairy free gluten-free I do not wear make up only on rare occasions maybe once a month and I cannot get rid of this acne. Any suggestions that won’t cost me tons of cash.... I do peels and masks just lost on what to try that actually works without taking a pill.

Seeing a dermatologist is what helped me. 
I’ve had acne since I was a teenager. 
I tried almost every drug store product and kit  I could for acne and even tried proactive. Nothing worked. 
I was told it’s hormonal acne at the dermatologist and was given spironolactone 50 mg to take every morning. 
It took 3 months but it cleared my skin up. 
It’s a blood pressure pill that dermatologist have found is effective in clearing up hormonal acne. It really does work but a dermatologist has to prescribe it. 
Finally at age 25 I have clear skin.
