Is this safe?

My son gets cold at night but I know putting loose blankets in can be dangerous at this age (2 months old) but he hates his arms being in the swaddle! So this is what I came up with haha. Do you mamas think it’s safe? If not can you tell me why? I only want my baby to be cozy AND safe(:

It was safe for my son, he hated his arms swaddled as well and they hardly move that much at this age just make sure it’s super secure, and I slept in the same room with my babies at this age so maybe do that as well just so you can keep an eye on him, but yes a sleeping bag without the arms would work really well, like this one!

If your baby moves enough to wriggle out of the muslin blanket or to make the blanket untucked, then it’s not safe. 
However:
There is a safe option here. You can use a sleepsack. You can get ones with arm holes (top row) or ones like in the second row and just chose to keep their arms out.

No. I highly recommend switching to a sleep sack instead. If he wiggles during the night, this can easily come loose and become a huge hazard.

At 2 months I swaddled my daughter in a regular swaddle blanket every night. Sometimes her arms were in sometimes out. As long as it is fairly snug it’s fine. 
Is that swaddle from amazon?

Get a sleeping sack! You can get cheap ones at H&M and Ikea if you don't want to spend a lot of money. Sleeping sacks are really great. They have holes for their arms so they're not restricted and they're warm and cosy.
