How soon did you leave baby?

Our friends want to go to s movie this Friday night, how soon did you leave baby with a sitter? (Our sitter would be grandma). Our girl will be a few days over two weeks and I don’t think I’m ready to leave her.

I went out with some friends when my son was 2 weeks old. I needed to get out of the house.

If you're not ready than don't do it until you're comfortable. My son was 5 months old the first time I left him with anyone and that was his grandma. Honestly havent left his side yet after that.

A month, maybe a little less.  Our sitter was also grandma.  I left him quite a bit for short periods of time when I was on maternity leave so that I could take care of myself and so that both he and I (and our caregivers) would be used to it when I went back to work.

6 weeks. My husband forced me out of the house, we dropped him off at Mimi's house and went shopping. I needed clothes that fit my new body for work two weeks later.

24 hrs after brought him him bc I got readmited and it was -14 our but it was only a few hours till my husband brought him to the hospital

I left my lo one last night for the first time for an hour and a half to visit my horse and he's just a few days over a month old. But I chose something that if I wanted to leave after 10 minutes I could have headed home.
