C-section recovery

After a failed induction, I am now recovering from a c-section & my baby is in NICU. He was born yesterday 03/20, weighed 9lbs, 21in long. He came with us to the postpartum room then the nurses noticed that he was breathing faster than usual, had low blood sugar and slightly elevated temperature. They took him to NICU where they are running labs to see if he has an infection. They also did some x-rays where they first said it was pneumonia, now they are saying it’s just his lungs transitioning. My heart hurts in just the thought of leaving my boy here but as long as he is healthy.

I am not sure how many women on here have had c-sections but all props to you! I’ve just reached my 24 hour mark, and the pain is still creeping up on me!!
