Night time sleeping issues

I have a 1 month old son who is my first kid and he hates sleeping in his bassinet. I know that it isn’t recommended but after he fusses and cries because he doesn’t want to sleep in it I put him in his rock n play to sleep in. He only sleeps at most 3 hours at a time, but usually he sleeps 2 hours, so I’m up with him all the time basically. I want to get him sleeping in the bassinet and I can’t figure out how. I try swaddling him but he kicks himself right out of it. Any advice?
