Is it really worth going to Disneyland?

I’m thinking of going this May here in California with the family for a few days. My husband and I my 2yr 6Mo toddler, and my 1year baby and other family members. We are looking to rent an Apartment located across Disneyland it’s about 10 min walk. But yea it’s our first time never been there I don’t know what to expect? I don’t know if both my kids are too small to remember any of this? But I’m still debating if we should go or not. I heard it’s a good idea too pack some lunch of your own cause it can get pricey. But idk for those who have gone is it really worth going? A lot of people tell me “ I wouldn’t go right now cause you’re kids aren’t going to remember any of this” 😑 ahhh help me decide 🤔😫
