Consistent lightening crotch?!

Is it possible to be having contractions that are basically lightening crotch every few minutes? For a half hour now I’ve been having lightening crotch but it is every few minutes. The pain is pretty unbearable, and I *think* my stomach is tightening as well.. why do contractions and the end of pregnancy have to be so confusing!

Sounds like baby is moving down to give you the lightening crotch. Try a birthing ball and rotating your hips baby could be favoring sitting on a nerve

This was me last night and even though I knew it wasn’t contractions I convinced myself labour was imminent. Fell asleep and in the morning felt completely normal lol

I had that the other night n it went away. Think it was just nerve pain from her getting further into my pelvis

Time them like you would contractions and then call your doctor and see if they want you to go into labor and delivery to be checked
