Question

I wore thongs for the first time after birth, I’m 7 weeks PP and I noticed there was blood when I wiped.. lol. I think it’s where my stitches were.. I’m still waiting for my 6 Week PP appt. 🙄 I’m not sore or anything, just light bright red blood on my TP. (doesn’t leak like a period)

It could just be more postpartum bleeding. Sometimes it stops and comes back. I’m almost 2 weeks PP and some days I bleed, some days I don’t. Or the thong could have irritated the stitches if you still have them in the area that the thong was touching. I know that my pads irritated my stitches and then they fell out, so it could be anything! Ask your doctor though if you’re concerned 😊

You could still be bleeding from after birth or it could be the beginning of your period again that happened to me too . If you feel like the stitches are affected in some way ask your doctor to check you . I wouldn’t wear thongs till you heal up completely tbh .
