I really really hate when people ask me private questions, why is that?

why I hate when others ask me private question? E.g are you married? Where do you work? What do you do? Where did you meet your husband? Where did you go to school? I am a fairly successful professional but I really hate to reveal any private info about myself, why is that? 😕

Those seem like fairly routine "getting to know you" questions. It's fine if you don't want to answer them. But I don't think there's anything wrong with someone showing interest in building a friendship with you.

It just means you’re more of a private person there’s nothing wrong with that. You don’t owe anyone any answers about your life. Don’t feel bad. If you want to change it maybe work on opening up to one person whom you like and feel comfortable with but doesn’t know these things about you. Other than that it’s really not a flaw. Not everyone needs to know everything about you.

Those questions seem normal.
There’s something about knowing someone on a personal level that makes professional life a little easier. If they don’t know you, why are they going to stick their neck out for you If conflict in work comes up 🤷🏼‍♀️
I get what your thinking though, I felt the same way when I entered the legal field, and I unfortunately found out the hard way why isolating myself wasn’t a good thing. 
The question that is touchy for me these days is about kids. Because we are at 17 mo ttc #1. I tear up if someone asks if we have kids/want kids because we want it more than anything.

I really really hate when people ask me private questions, why is that?
