Should I take plan b ?

i take my birth control in the mornings, usually from 8-11 am
Last night i got drunk and ended up having unprotected sex with a man. He came inside me (i’m gonna get tested don’t worry) The only time I remember him actually cumming in me was at 9am
I didn’t bring my birth control with me so I didn’t take it until almost 2pm today
Should I get plan b? It’s expensive so I don’t want to unless necessary.
I’ll be more careful next time this was definitely a low moment in my life 🤦‍♀️

I wouldnt. It messes with hormones if you take it everyday the one day wont affect you at all :)

I would presume that if you have been taking your pill regularly then there’s plenty “protection” in you anyway and chances of you ovulating and pill not being effective I would think are slim....but nothings 100%!! If your going to constantly worry about it then get it

I would say take it to be safe. It’s a little pricey, but it seems like you don’t have unprotected sex often so it should be a one time purchase. And you’d rather spend $40 and not need it than risk having a baby if you’re not ready.

Personally, I understand that you took it 3 to 5 hours later than you normally do. Thus, my gut tells me you're going to be fine. 
However, to get a piece of mind I would talk to your pharmacist today and if they think you need to take it then I would take it today. They say the sooner you take it within a 72-hour window, the more effective it is.
