Online baby shower?

My first pregnancy and i literally have no friends just my best friend and my cousin that's like a best friend

I have no co workers because i work alone

Family we all have drifted apart...

But ive talked to my step mom about this i was sad.. And reminiscing when my brother had his first baby it was like a block party it was a huge turnout and I've always wanted something like that. But I know that's not going to happen for me.

Has anyone not had a baby shower but just did online registries? how did it turn out? Thanks!
