Almost ran over my ex today

I haven’t seen him in almost four years. We haven’t spoken in over three years.

Today I was driving home and had to detour because of construction so I had to go through a back neighborhood. At first I didn’t realize what neighborhood it was because I hadn’t been there in four years. But i follow the detour and next thing I know two dogs dart into the street chasing a bunny and I slam on my breaks not wanting to hit them and he runs right after them. I was only going 25 so it was a quick stop. He ran out as I was almost completely stopped. He didn’t even grab the dogs he looked at me like I was some serial killer or something.

He grabbed the dogs and took them back to his house and I just drove home. I felt very weird for a while. I thought this man was the love of my life until he got his friends to roofie me and get me really drunk. He broke up with me that night at 3 am over text because I apparently kept asking him why he didn’t love me anymore. I don’t remember that night. I remember being sick and heart broken that three years with someone who talked about marriage and kids with me were over in an instant that I won’t ever even know what actually happened.

He tried to call me about an hour ago. I’m assuming to ask why I was in that neighborhood or whatever. But I didn’t answer.

I can’t believe this happened today 🤦‍♀️

Yes he had his friends do it because he was too scared to actually put it in my drink. He was present the whole time. Which is why I didn’t think anything suspicious would happen. We were at his house and three of his friends (two female one male) came over to watch movies and he got them to do it. The alcohol was really fruity and I didn’t even realize it was alcohol until they told me with the second cup.
