Anyone else get annoyed?

I have a daughter she’s 13 going to be 14 in 6 months. My husband and I have been together 9 years and every time LITERALLY every time there is a family gathering with either side of our families we get asked if we are having kids. We always give the same answer. NO! And even then people say oh you’re still young (I’m 31 my husband is 28) you’ll change your mind or you still have time!! I’m always like ummm no it’s been over 13 years since I had my one child and I’ve NEVER changed my mind about wanting another one! My husband always says my daughter is his child and we are both on the same page about not wanting more children. Lol i just get annoyed always telling people the same thing! Not everyone has to have children after getting married or have more than one. Anyone get the same crap from your family?!? Rant here I totally understand and fully support you 😆

I love babies and little kids but I do not want my own for my own personal reasons, people are always saying 
“ everyone says that when they’re young”
“Your so young give it time”
“ really but your so good with little kids and babies, you’d be a great mom”  
there’s so many more but it’s super annoying to hear. Just stop already.

I think this is annoying for several reasons. You could not want children, or rather any more children, you could just not feel ready for children, or you could have fertility issues, to name a few examples. It’s just really careless to keep asking, especially since most don’t that couples situation well enough to not potentially tread on a sore spot.
I have to stop myself from asking my sister if she’s having a baby yet because I know she’s been trying and is bummed about not being pregnant yet, so I don’t ask anymore. She’ll tell me when she is and when she wants to.

Ugh, it is so annoying! I used to think it wouldn’t bother me. But I was also pretty delusional back then and thought I’d just pop out babies all over the place once I was married. But ya know, life happens, bills have to get paid, etc. 
At least you’re told you’re still young. My FIL likes to point out how “old” I am and that I better start having kids soon or I’ll have too many “problems.” I’m 28, my husband is 24! Did I want to have babies long before 28, of course! But there’s obviously a reason we don’t!
