I am in absolute severe pain and it’s getting worse I can’t describe.
pregnancy has completely ruined my gums and teeth and I have no idea how much work I’ll need on them or even if I can have teeth out while pregnant

You don’t need your maternity exemption card to qualify for free treatment. Just tell them you don’t have it yet and they will ask you to sign the prescription/treatment form to say you are pregnant, and when your due date is.

It if free with exemption card as others have said but it’s recommended you avoid x rays until after the first trimester. Before I knew this I had 7 x rays and baby was fine. They won’t take teeth out until after birth. I had to spend six months with half molars as they were broken 😑 they also can’t give you proper fillings and they are really flimsy!

Yes, I had the most severe toothache last week (6 weeks) and went down to the emergency dentist as I no longer have a dentist. I didn’t have my exemption card because I haven’t met my midwife yet. But I told them I’m pregnant. And they asked me my due date etc and I had a root canal done. Totally free!! 
I was just wondering tho, if anyone knows, is eye-care free? My sight has definitely gone worse I feel since I’ve become pregnant. I want to go back in for a checkup and get more glasses. Would this be covered?

Yes, on the NHS for routine checkups and necessary work, through pregnancy and for one year after. 
If you currently have a private dentist you can't just rock up there and expect not to pay. If you're currently under a private dentist you'll maybe want to consider switching to an NHS one. Some private dentists also do NHS so it's worth checking.
