Should I take him in ?

My son turned 3 months old on the 13th. Last night he woke up almost every hour and cried and fussed which is very odd for him. Today he did they same thing. He is eating normal and doesn't have a fever. He is very congested and seems to be a bit wheezy and tired but can't sleep. Should I take him to the walk In or er ? I asked my sister but she doesn't think i need to take him in.

Get the bathroom super steamy and sit in there with him for a bit. It’ll help with the congestion. There’s not really anything they can do at the er for a cold so as long as he is still having wet diapers and no fever just watch him. If he stops eating and is getting dehydrated or his breathing sounds labored then I’d maybe take him to the clinic in a day or two but it isn’t er worthy at this point.

Best thing you can do is get a cool mist humidifier and keep clearing his nose with saline drops and suction

Aww momma, I’m sorry your baby isn’t feeling good :(. This happened to our son right around that time (5mo now) and I went to the emergency room cause FTM and I was freaking out. They took xrays and everything to check his lungs and it was just a cold. I bought a humidifier and also sat in the bathroom while the hot steaming water ran and that helped. Frida snotsucker also helped A LOT to clear his mucous. He got better after a week.
There’s nothing wrong with taking him in to his doctor just to make sure it’s nothing else and they can give other recommendations. Give your baby extra love!! ❤️
