First car purchase??

Anyone have a good experience buying a newer used vehicle with bad credit? If so, please tell me what worked for you.

I work for a dealership so perhaps I can help.
Your best bet is to find a larger dealership and start the process online. Let them know you have iffy credit. No bad credit is created the same. 
Before starting the process you need to qualify yourself a bit.
Do you have at least 2 years job time? 
Do you make the equivalent of full time pay at state minimum wage? - Banks want to see an ability to pay.
Do you have at least something of a down payment?
Most car dealerships do their best for customers to have a positive experience no matter their credit score. Remember their end goal is to sell you a car as much as it is for you to buy car. 
If you have the option of a co-signer go with that as it can save you a ton of money in interest payments.
