First outbreak...

Why when I get diagnosed with hsv1 that I have an outbreak a month later? I asked to get checked cause my boyfriend cheated... back in October..... anyways for a week now ive been feeling my corners of my lips real sore and throbbing and I couldn’t open my mouth wide cause it feels like a cut and today I finally noticed a lil blister.. I was touching it. Can I get it on my finger???
