Getting tired of people's comments...
**little bit of a back story first**
My daughter was due 11/20/18 but decided to hold out on us (long ol' story) and she arrived at 1:31 a.m. on 12/01/18. She was 8lbs. 8oz. & 20.5 inches (pretty good sized girl, if you ask me!)

She had a bad tongue tie, which made nursing her pretty painful, and it got released when she was just 4 days old. (For those wondering, yes, I am still nursing her to this day! Go me!) Anywho... at her 2 month check up, she weight 9lbs. 7oz. & was 21.75 inches. Her pediatrician said he wasn't too concerned because her head circumference, weight, and length were proportionate. Long story short, it turns out that she has CMPI. Being that I will do whatever I have to in order to nurse her for as long as I can, I took ALL dairy out of my diet.
She had a cold about a month ago and I took her in to the doctor. She weighed 9lbs. 12oz. My husband and I have been keeping track of her weight gain, as of yesterday, she weighs roughly 10lbs. 6oz. She will be 4 months old on April 1st.

On NUMEROUS occasions, someone always makes a comment about how small she is or how I need to feed her more. TRUST ME... she eats and I am in NO WAY keeping milk away from her (I nurse ON DEMAND for Heaven's sake!) I am diligent in my making sure that she is full when she eats and she gets supplemented with expressed milk when she's extra hungry and at night too). I have expressed my concern about her weight gain (or lack there of) to her pediatrician and he assures me that she is a proportionate, good looking, healthy baby and if/when it becomes concerning, he will not hesitate to tell me.
Yes, I think she is on the smaller side, but I do not think that she is unhealthy. She is long and lean. As my mom says, "Her British heritage is showing!" (My grandma was a very petite lady!)
Help! I'm about to snap on the next person who makes a comment like that!
