Absolurely not. All her clothes will be covered in smoke and then shell be holding your baby. And that means shes living kids unattended to go outside and smoke.

It would depend on how great the level of care would be, like yeah the woman smokes, but is she going to be the best at taking care of my kid. A non smoker might be a jerk, that’s really all I cared about when I was looking at dayhome’s .

My daycare provider for my children smoke. She doesn’t ever smoke inside the house and always washes her hands when she comes in. My boyfriends side of the family all mostly smoke and his dad smokes in his house. I have already drawn the line saying we will not be in there bc it smells badly for smoke. I think if the right precautions are taken it should be okay.

Definitely not if I smell smoke in the house - and I’m a former smoker (quit because of pregnancy) and my husband still smokes a bit too. It took us forever to finally get my MIL to stop smoking in her house a couple years ago. I can’t judge if people smoke but if I pick my baby up from your house and their blanket and clothes smell..no thanks! My husband is already in the habit of showering right after work, washing his hands and changing his sweater after his night time smoke so I do t even have to smell it. Can’t lie - I miss it a ton, and I probably will have a smoke here and there after the baby’s born but no way will my child smell like cigarettes!

I would lean towards no, but to some extent it depends on some details like how often she smokes, how old your baby will be when you take them there and how long/often they will be there.
