Baby’s surgery

I just wanted to post an update on baby. I posted a while ago that at our 20 week anatomy scan doctors found a mass in baby boy’s left lung, and it was diagnosed as a Bronchopulmonary Sequestration (BPS). The thing to be worried about with BPS is that it can grow and impact his heart, shift it and even cause fluid buildup called hydrops which would require fetal surgery or premature delivery. I am beyond blessed to say that his heart looks normal and he is absolutely perfect. As of now (at 25 weeks) doctors say I am expected to have a normal pregnancy and birth and baby boy will have to have surgery around 12 months old to remove it. No one wants to think about their baby having surgery but I’m honestly so relieved. This is the best case scenario and God has definitely been watching over us! Just wanted to share our happy news and ask everyone to pray that the rest of my pregnancy and delivery goes smoothly! 💙💙💙
