With your first born, did/do you enjoy being a mother?

The question isn’t if you love your child or not, as I’m sure you do. It’s whether or not you ENJOY being a mother.
I just recently had my first baby and love him very much and wouldn’t trade him for the world, but I do not enjoy being a mother... 😔
I feel bad thinking it, but even more so saying it. I just wanted to know if others felt this way too. I believe I’m suffering from postpartum depression and anxiety.

I was in the middle, I had days I loved it, and I still have days where I honestly hate it. With my first it was such a shoft, from being independent,  working and living care free, to then having to provide for and care for another human 24/7. So I had alot of days for awhile where I didn't like it at all.. Dont feel bad for not loving it every single second, being a mom is hard and stressful. Mayne try talking to someone, maybe you have a bit of ppd ?

I very much dislike the early months. Like really really really don't like them. I wish I could pop out a one year old lol. After that though I love it.

Definitely chat to your doctor about how you’re feeling. I think it’s probably more common to feel this way then what your poll indicates!! ♥️
