Weight gain with Mirena?

I read on Mirena’s site that less than 5% of women experienced weight gain but I’m reading on here that lots of women experience it. Thoughts?

I gained 15 lbs on the Mirena. The first 10 lbs was gained within 6 months after my insertion. I cannot wait to remove it.

If it’s not happening to you personally I wouldn’t be concerned about it 🤷🏾‍♀️ Birth control affects everyone differently, I don’t think too hard about side effects that aren’t happening to me.
