38 weeks

I went to l&d this morning for back pain thought it could be back labor, I was contracting every 6 minutes but would have a 10 minute span where I wouldn't have any, got my cervix checked 2x and I was 1.5 cm both times so since I didn't make progress they sent me home. Took about a hour nap and then went on a walk to hopefully get things moving I've been having contractions no more then 5 minutes apart and they're more painful now but not to the point I can't talk through them. Do I need to go back in or wait a little longer?
