Am I too young?

I‘m 15, my boyfriend of 6 months is 16 and we’re planning on have sex during spring break. I honestly want to just as much as he does and I’m really excited but I’m worried that some people might think that I’m too young to be sexually active. I’m planning on going on the pill and making sure that he uses condoms so there’s no possibility of a baby, so it can’t be that bad as long as we’re using protection, right?

I don’t know that it is specifically about a number. I was almost 20 before I felt ready to deal with the complications I saw that it brought to relationships amongst my peers.  I think the fact that you know you must protect yourself is a good sign.  If you honestly feel you’re ready, and you’re safe,  then it’s up to you.  If at any point you decide you’re not ready, it’s okay to decide that too.

Just make sure u actually love him and are being safe. And just go on acting like you have never had sex. People don't have to know. Even if people know you're having sex you don't have to talk about it.  It makes u look more mature
