I m having severe pain in my pelvic region. Just wanna know is it common or something is wrong with me

Is it a throbbing sensation?  I have a heavy feeling but I don't know if I would call it pain.

My doctor said that my pelvic pain is pelvic girdle pain because it is a constant pain vs round ligament pain which is temporary/fleeting. 
When you’re pregnant your muscles/ligaments loosen up to allow your body to shift/widen as baby grows. Unfortunately the loosening can cause your pelvis/back to become misaligned which can cause pain and/or pressure. What helps me are: chiropractic adjustments (I get one a week), massage (one every 2-3 weeks), wearing a belly support band and working out (I’d recommend looking up pelvic girdle pain workouts on YouTube). Honestly working out helps me the most because it has the longest lasting effect. Hope that helps!

I’m having pelvic pain on and off and I read that it’s round ligament pain. My lower back also hurts on and off especially after sitting/laying for a long period of time
