It’s been a very hectic past few weeks

I went into L&D March 8th (30 w 3 d) because I was feeling contractions while there I went from closed to 1 cm and was getting contractions 2-3 minutes apart

I didn’t realize the hospital I plan to deliver at doesn’t have a NICU and I went right after work, so it was just me since my boyfriend was at work 2 hours away

They sent me via ambulance to the nearest hospital that had a NICU in case I delivered. Ended up staying at the hospital for 5 days but they held off my labor. I’ve had a NICU baby before and I don’t ever want to go through that again.

Got checked again a couple weeks ago from my OBGYN, still at 1 cm

Last week the perinatologist I saw in the hospital did an ultrasound to confirm all was good with baby. I don’t want him to come early but am a little nervous cause his head is measuring 2 weeks ahead 😦

This is my 5th baby but different dad and all my previous babies had heads in the 5th percentile.

I’m also glad the perinatologist did the ultrasound cause he was also able to tell us at the same time that baby’s brain and head are completely healthy.... just measuring ahead of schedule. Was also good to hear that all of the other organs were fine too.

After that whole experience now I’m nervous whenever I’m contracting if I should go to my nearest hospital or the furthest one away that has a NICU cause I’m scared if I go to the nearest one (45 minutes away) they’ll transport me via ambulance to the other one (1 hr 15 minutes away).

So I’m just really hoping and praying this little guy stays put till at least mid April.

At my latest ultrasound it looked like he was praying for that too (those are his hands in front of his face)
