What did you think before your S/O proposed?

He proposed my Senior prom. Given our ages it was a COMPLETE surprise! Even though I knew I would spend the rest of my life with him and so did my parents he asked them first and they gave their Blessing. Going on 11 years married with two crazy boys.

We talked about it, but he always told me I’d never know when it was coming & that it would be a huge surprise. It definitely was! He proposed in January after a big snow. It was unexpected, cold, & beautiful!

I knew it was coming soon but not that weekend. We were on a weekend get away and we walked out to a bridge over a river. I was in awe of the natural beauty and went to take a pic with my phone then I turned and he was down on one knee and “is this for real” 😳 came out of my mouth. I will be teased forever for this reaction 🤣🤣
Him and my sister picked out the ring and my sister booked a house for my 30th with our close friends and my parents came up and stayed at a hotel close by.

I knew we talked about it and I knew he went out looking at rings with his mom. I didn’t know how or when and he surprised me with how much effort he put in to it. It was definitely one of the most romantic best nights that I will never forget.

He had picked me up after work, and had asked me to grab his can of chew out of the glove box. When I opened it he had the box opened, I immediately shut the glove box. I reopened it and pulled it out after kissing him. It was sweet. I had no idea.

He knew I wanted to be engaged because we were pregnant. But we got pregnant 5 months into our relationship so I also didn’t want to pressure him. So he proposed at our baby shower and I was totally surprised!
