broke up with my boyfriend

so i broke up with my boyfriend for numerous reasons. normally we “breakup” but never take it seriously so he thought that’s this was how it was this time, but i genuinely couldn’t take it anymore. i feel relieved not having him on my back controlling all the time. but now he is doing everything in his power to fix himself and change to get me back, he can’t stop crying he doesn’t sleep he says he feels sick to his stomach. but i just think to myself it sucks bc he should’ve done all this sooner but he lost me. but even then who knows if he’ll actually change. it just sucks i feel bad but i’m done i feel like free now. i can go out with my friend, i can go to the gym, i can buy myself whatever i want.
