Pricing for babysitting?

I’m thinking about starting to watch children. So far I have one 7 month old and a 2 year old. I’m about to have another 7 month old and I’m wondering about pricing? I am licensed and childcare and I know lots of things to do. Scheduling, lesson plans and what not. I probably sound a little dumb I’m not good at wording things lol. I live in norther Arkansas and I’m not sure what a good price is for 5 days a week and 8 hours a day or less never over.

I think it depends on how much it would be a week if they just went to a daycare center. For example where I live it is $300 a week per child (for an 8 hour day, 5 days a week, but if they had more than an 8 hour day then they would charge $20 an hour after 8 hours) for daycare so if I were in your shoes and that’s how much daycare would be a week if they just went there then I would charge $220 a week per child but if they have more than one child like let’s say they have two then I would charge them $290 per week and that is for 4 year olds and younger. If they are 4 years old and older, plus depending on how many hours it is per week then I would only charge $150 a week if that is for 8 hours a day for 5 days a week but if their child is in school and they still need a babysitter after they get out of school, for an example 4 hours then I would just charge $95 a week since a child that age don’t require more attention than children younger then them. But if they just need a babysitter less than four days a week then I would charge $40 a day and anything after 10-12 hours I would charge an extra $5 per hour after that since that would be very long hours. But if they are four years old and younger and you were only watching them a couple times a week then I would charge them $50 a day plus the extra $10 an hour after 10-12 hours.

I watch family kids and charge 20 bucks per kid per day and that’s a steal. I’m well worth at least 15 an hour. Daycares are usually 250-300 a week around here. Also depends if you will be providing food and other stuff. If you are licensed then you should be able to get a pretty decent amount. And people who can’t afford it can also go through the state and they will pay you.

then depending on experience you can decrease or increase your value. 
I always charge just a little bit more since I can prove to my clients I have a early childhood education degree and worked in daycare/nanny before.

For 2 kids I would charge $20 an hour. And that’s being nice lol
