Ovulation

So my calendar says I’m in my fertile phase. Last cycle I took an ovulation test on CD14 and it was positive. This cycle I’ve had cramps and discharge a couple days and took ovulation tests those same days leading up to CD14 (today) I have yet to get a positive ovulation test but have been having the normal symptoms of ovulating. Could the tests be wrong? Or could I have just not ovulated yet even though it’s been feeling like I have. I had egg white CM a couple days ago but then it went away.
