How does braxton hicks look like?

I have braxton hicks from about 20weeks. I am currently using uterogestan to ease them and I am 29 weeks,but sometimes they get rather intense and hurts sometimes. My OB told me to start enjoying the last few weeks, but I am so scared that they might be real contractions.

For me it feels like my tummy is going really tight but it's not painful, just uncomfortable like someone squeezing you too hard almost.

I just had them for the first time over the weekend (long hours on my feet + dehydration) at 23 weeks. They weren’t at all painful, or even uncomfortable, and you couldn’t see them from the outside. It just felt like I was flexing my lower abs 🤷‍♀️

Real contractions are painful and get worse while Braxton Hicks are uncomfortable but not painful they are different

Braxton Hicks essentially never get worse. You may have a sharp one here or there, but when it’s labor they are like a mountain. You slowly climb up and they get longer, more intense and closer together.
