i need help

i’m the kind of person who doesn’t like pda and having people watch me in public, my bf is the complete opposite he really loves showing ppl that he loves me. I know this is gonna sound awful but when he first asked me if i wanted him to start grabbing my hand in classes i said i wasn’t sure, i really hated the idea of being seen being really affectionate, am i a bad person for not wanting him to do it? i also hate it when he calls me nick names like baby and cutie, i’ve never liked the sound out being called that.. im all of a sudden feeling waay more awkward around him now that he’s started “showing me off”. am i a bad person?!
