Is the Dock A Tot useful for newborns?

I never gotten one with my first because they didn’t have them out yet 🙄 but now that I’m pregnant again I have been seeing them everywhere & it’s so tempting to get one but I wanted to ask for advice instead of wasting money on it, how does it work for your newborns? I bought a crib for my newborn but I don’t know if I should get the dock a tot for my newborn, I’m nervous it won’t come to use.. how does it work for yours? do they like it? And do they sleep well with it? Or is it useless?
