Update to employer maternity leave policy 🙌
I just got a call from my benefits manager letting me know that the board approved 2 weeks paid maternity leave on top of the 6 weeks I already receive through our company short term disability policy!! Now that's a full paycheck we were expecting to go without and only 4 weeks unpaid instead of 6. Did I mention that my company board is comprised of all MEN?! This is a big step in the right direction, ladies!
