Update on breastfeeding

Well about a week ago my baby bit my nipple super hard leaving a big gash and swelling under my nipple. Ive been trying to nurse thru the pain but its been getting worse n the gash isn't healing bc of the constant sucking. My husband told me just stop nursing on that side. However the side thats not hurt is almost empty.

And my baby is very difficult to feed and never takes more than two sips from a cup. Sooooo my questions:

1- baby still pees but much less and much lighter. Should I worry or he will drink when hes thirsty? Sighs. Should I give him my injured side to make sure he has fluids and bear thru the pain?

2- any way to speed up healing of my nipple? It hurts so bad even when hes not sucking. Ive already contacted doc and she also said just stop giving that side.

3- doc told me to pump the injured side but won't that also aggravate the gash and prevent healing? Sighs

Oh my babys 13 months. If he was good at eating food or drinking from a cup id be ok but he's not. So stressed
