3rd times the charm

My story: In September 2018 I started 5mg of Letrazol. The dose was too high and resulted in a canceled

IUI

because of 6 or so lead follicles. Looking back I wish I had just done it. 🙄 In October my Dr. lowered the dose to 2.5 and I had 2 or 3 follies and 8 million sperm post wash. I got pregnant! I also felt different sore swollen boobs and dark nipples. My hcg was low to start at 23. The Dr. said be cautiously optimistic. It rose over the next 6 days up to 889 before it fell in half and i miscarried. I noticed my boobs were back to normal. I was devastated but decided to do another

IUI

in December and right before NYE the results were in and they were negative. 😪 I decided to take a break for a while and try naturally and at the end of my March period start another

IUI

cycle if we didn’t conceive again.

4/5/19 : I went in for monitoring today on cd10. Follies aren’t quite big enough yet but they say there are quite a few so they want me to go in again for monitoring tomorrow and possibly Sunday. I’m thinking my

will be scheduled on Monday. I have a good feeling about this cycle!

Update 4/7/19 : my follies weren’t as big as they wanted yesterday and my estrogen was at 178. So they wanted to see me again today to give follies time to grow a little more and they did! Trigger will be tonight and

on Tuesday!

Side note: does anyone else have a hard time having their blood drawn?? They stuck me 3 times yesterday and today! They had to take blood from my hand yesterday too! 😫 They also didn’t get much blood... only about a 3rd of the tube!

Update 4/18/19 9dpiui - I’m feeling pretty blah today. I don’t know if it worked. I have no symptoms whatsoever and I have less than a week to go before my beta test. I did decide to test before my beta on Wednesday... so there are no surprises. I had sore dark nipples for about a week since starting the progesterone suppositories but it has since subsided and now my nipples are pretty much back to normal. I should be implanting soon if not already and I feel no different. I feel like I’m out this month and then it’ll be on to

IVF

. This is such a bummer. I’m trying to remain optimistic but it seems the chances are so slim.

Update 4/21/19 took another test today 12dpiui and yesterday 11dpiui both negative it could be considered early but it’s not I feel period symptoms and so I’m just going to stop the progesterone suppositories and call it a bust and a waste of $1800 for this iui cycle. I’ll talk to my dr. About Ivf next and pray it works. I guess no baby for 2019 for me.
