Accidentally bought the same dress for prom help!!

Okay so I bought this dress from Fashion Nova for prom, and after my purchase I realised that my friend used a similar design dress to an event 2 years ago.

I'm just worried that she would be wearing it for prom this year 😓😓 and even if she wears another dress what would she think if she saw I have the same dress as her? Do you think she'll think I'm a copycat?

I already purchased it though and I didn't know she has the same dress. What should I do? Should I buy another dress or just wear it?
