MIL advice 🙄

So my in laws stayed over Friday night and yesterday before leaving she asked “do you pick him up every time he cries?” I said yeah. She said “you know, it’s okay for him to cry for 10-15 minutes without rushing to pick him up. Otherwise he’ll become too dependent and won’t learn any other way.” I said, “he’s still a bit young to understand that concept (he’s 9 weeks).” Do you guys let your baby cry it out?
