Late period... BFN’s

Hey all! So I got my IUD out in early March, I had the copper IUD which has no hormones so I don’t have to worry about them balancing back out. I’m now 5 days late for my period and I took a test 3 days ago that was a BFN. Could I still be pregnant and it’s taking a while for it to appear or am I out? Bc I feel like once you have a missed period the pregnancy test is pretty accurate & let me just tell you I’m tired of buying FRER tests that turn out negative over and over, hearts my heart and the bank account lol.
