I met this guy two and a half weeks ago and we had instant chemistry but have only been on four dates. Then he said this

I honestly want a relationship with him too but is it a red flag if it’s so soon ?

Uh what’s the problem here? He’s waited a very decent amount of time and was able to communicate his needs/wants to you like an adult. If the feelings right go for it, and if you have some hesitation let him know.

I don’t think it’s a red flag. I don’t know the full sorry but he could mean that he’s just looking for a relationship in general, and is just trying to set boundaries so that you guys are on the same page and you know that he wants something long term. 2 1/2 weeks and four dates isn’t a long time, but in my opinion, I think it’s enough time to tell if you really like someone enough to want to pursue a relationship with them.
