Painful uterine cramps 6w3d

I’ve had what feel like really bad period cramps for 3 weeks now. They come and go like period cramps but they are not mild they are intense.

I actually initially found out I was pregnant because I went to see my doctor about bad pre-menstrual cramps. I’ve had two ultrasounds and everything looks normal: last week they saw the sac in my uterus. No notable cysts. But the cramps persist!

Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?? Is there any relief or at least a light at the end of the tunnel when these will stop??
