With insurance, in the USA, and what type of delivery did you have?

My husband is in the Army so our insurance covered everything. I had an induced vaginal delivery.

I had a vaginal delivery with non-narcotic epi, with blue cross, and paid about $5k to the hospital. Fair warning, they will harass you for it before you leave, at least at the hospital where i delivered.

With my first I had Web TPA and had a $2,000 ded. So I paid that, and $1200 for my epidural. I had a vaginal delivery.
With my second I won’t pay anything because I have Tricare Prime. I’m hoping it’ll be another vaginal delivery. I’ll be delivering on base so it should be completely covered. But I’m not sure.

I had an uncomplicated vaginal birth with my son. My deductible was $500 so that’s all I had to pay. Insurance covered the rest. I had BCBS of Massachusetts.

With insurance with my son it was free and I had a lot of complications but vaginal delivery. This time I just have to pay my co-pay which is $180 for all appointments, ultrasounds, labs, and delivery
