Introduced me to his new girlfriend

I was at a wedding on Saturday and my ex was there. We only dated a little over a month but it was a really hot month. I haven’t seen him too much in the past 2 years since he broke it off (he was still in love with an ex). The last time I heard from him one on one was 7 months after the break up and he wanted to date again but I had to protect me and move on.

Anyways, I guess they were getting ready to leave and he made a point of bringing her over to meet me. I’m not sure why? She was super nice and I was super awkward but nice (I’m not good with confrontation). I wasn’t expecting it and was very confused. Also super embarrassed because I was holding a massive plate filled with desserts. So after awkward small talk, we said goodbye.

Why would he do that? I mean, we ended on friendly terms the last time we talked, I know. Was he being nice or something else. I’ve never had someone do that before.

Probably reading too much into it, huh? I’m not used to people acting nice to me.
