Can my mom call ICE on my husband?

I've been in the same relationship for 8 years and eloped 2 years ago. I'm 9 weeks pregnant after trying for 8 months. My mom begs me everyday to move back and leave him because she hates his race and thinks they are dumb and I can do better. My parents despise my husband so much. He never gave them a reason to do so. I've been nothing but happy all these years. He has a work permit so he is able to work and provide for me. He is an electrician and works for an amazing company. My mom has been begging me to NEVER get pregnant and she even threatened him that she will do something to him if I do get pregnant. The other day I went to go visit and she said YOU NEED TO GET ON IUD OR DEPO!!! DON'T GET PREGNANT BECUZ YOU WILL RUIN MY LIFE. So now I'm terrifies to announce my pregnancy to my family. Only my sister knows.... I will have no support and I'm terrified of what will happen. Maybe she will call ICE? My husband is in process of getting his residency soon anyway but either way not sure what else my parents plan on doing to him.

Why would want someone in your life who can’t support you and your family now, 100%? Can she? Yes. Will she? By the sounds of it, she would. Why risk it?

You should tell your mom to fuck off and worry about her life. You’re a grown ass woman and really don’t need people like that in your life...mom or not. I went through the same thing with my mom and guess what? My husband and I have been married for 12 years, bought a house, 2 beautiful kids with another on the way. My mom learned to like my husband bc she saw what a great man he is but even if she hadn’t, she damn sure wouldn’t be a part of my life anymore. Sorry but you need to live your life for you, no one else 🤷🏻‍♀️

All I can say is if ICE does show up at your door, know the law! Nothing can be done without a judge issued warrant. Even then they can say it’s a warrant and I’d immediately call a lawyer before I let them inside. 
Even if he’s here legally, they’ll probably still try. I live in Texas and see some of the wildest things here.

Wow...I'm so sorry your own mother treats your husband and you so poorly. The fact that you have to worry that your own Mother would attempt to destroy your life because of her selfish prejudice is disturbing. How will she treat her grandchild? I would, for sure, cut my ties with her until she understands, owns and changes her ways.

If he is in the process I don’t think ICE can get involved because there are so many individuals working towards their residency or nationalization.

I wouldn’t even bother with them then if they can not like a person simply because of who he is then they don’t deserve to be involved in your pregnancy or child’s life that child will forever be half of him. Announce when you want to and if he’s in the process of doing what you say he is I would assume they can’t do anything but I don’t know much about that.
