Fast fetal heartbeat?

Had the first scan today 7 weeks 6 days and wowzer the little bean’s heart was pumping SO fast! It was 172! I read that between 110-180 is normal, but other sources say 120-160 is normal, which worries me. 
I am confused and just wondering if any other mamas have high heart rates. Doctor said faster is definitely better because of less MC risk, and didn’t seem concerned. I just am shocked 😳

It is very normal to have a fast heartbeat at this point! Last time mine was measure at 9w4d it was 173 bpm and my doctor said that was great. The heartbeat will drop lower before you give birth, but it is very normal to be high right now.

At 8 weeks 1 day with my son his was 180. But I think by 12 weeks it was 150s. This time, at 7 weeks 6 days it was 154

My daughter was 172 in our first US with her and never went below 159 before the end of my pregnancy. Totally normal!

My last pregnancy my sons was 180 for a bit and then slowed down as he grew 💕 This one now is 160 💕 It’s normal love!

My daughter was 181 at 8 weeks and my son was 174 at 7 weeks, they slowed down the closer to birth they got.
